Saving the Kittens

A 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue located in Montgomery County, TN dedicated to providing care, love, and placements for cats and kittens.

Saving Kittens Sanctuary was originally founded in July 2022 and specializes in the care and rescue of neonatal kittens. In 2025, a new president and board of directors full of new life and passion stepped up in order to continue the mission. Saving Kittens Sanctuary provides milk supplements, specialized care, around the clock nourishment, and all veterinary care for young, abandoned kittens, as well as serving as a safe haven for vulnerable cats and kittens due to illness or behavioral concerns.  

In the wild, 75-95% of all kittens sadly die. Kittens are very fragile and even with a mom, often succumb to a plethora of illnesses. Calicivirus, herpesvirus, low body temperature (being chilled at birth), low birth weight, predators, loss of a mother, and parasites take countless kitten lives every day. Saving Kittens Sanctuary does not accept private intakes. All kittens are pulled directly from the local Animal Control or our sister rescues, helping to alleviate pressure on local resources and reduce the euthanasia rate.
